  • TN Statewide Crisis Phone Line
    Tennessee operates 12 mental health crisis centers, including one in Memphis. These centers offer face-to-face assessments and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also call the TN Statewide Crisis Phone Line for immediate support. Operators give callers the opportunity to explain their situation and request help. Crisis specialists use this information to determine the caller’s needs and can assist by making referrals to local services or calling the mobile crisis team.

    The Synergy Treatment Centers treats substance abuse issues and any co-occurring issues, including mood, anxiety and personality disorders, depression and PTSD. It uses a combination of group and individual therapy to help you identify triggers, gain valuable life skills and obtain appropriate treatment. Aftercare services and transitional housing are also available. Residents unable to pay can work for the center in exchange for room, board and treatment.
  • Harbor House Treatment Center
    Harbor House Treatment Center is a 28-day, gender-specific residential treatment program for those struggling with a substance abuse issue. It also treats any co-occurring conditions, including anxiety, depression and trauma. Family counseling, weekly aftercare sessions and transitional housing are also available. The center doesn’t accept insurance but does offer low-cost services, and financial assistance is available.
