Mesa, Arizona Mental Health Hotline

Arizona is home to more than 7 million people, and more than 1 million adults in the state are living with some kind of mental illness. Even without a formal diagnosis of a mental health condition, nearly 41% of adults in Arizona reported having felt at least some symptoms of anxiety and depression, while hundreds of thousands of residents didn’t get the mental health care they needed, even from the free AZ hotlines available statewide. Mesa is one of the larger cities in Arizona, home to more than half a million people, and like everywhere else in the state, there’s a general shortage of mental health professionals for the community.

Thankfully, the Mesa crisis line and other mental health hotlines are available to support people in the area living with mental illness. While it can be difficult to reach out for help in a mental health crisis, speaking with a caring and sympathetic professional can be the first step in getting the help you need. If you or a loved one lives in the Mesa region and needs help with mental or emotional illness, call one of the Mesa hotlines today. You can also reach out to any of these national and local resources.

National Alliance on Mental Illness

The NAMI helpline is able to help people with mental health conditions who need information, advice and assistance from compassionate volunteers. The main hotline is not a crisis line; it takes in-person phone calls Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The service is free and confidential, and the professional you speak with has a list of local providers who can assist you in person. NAMI does operate an emergency hotline that’s open 24-7 and connects you with trained crisis counselors through text.
